"Tales from Thom Scarecrow" is a great transitional piece for David
Wolfenberger.  While it opens with familiar fair that any Marshwiggle fan
will find comforting, it moves into areas dark and twisted, haunting yet
fun.  It further marks Wolfenberger as a distinct voice to be reckoned with
in the singer-songwriter genre.
